Coaching for Connection, Clarity & Confidence
Small group coaching can be an incredibly effective tool for both business and personal growth and development. At the Alchemists Forum, our coaching enables members to build meaningful connections, resulting in clarity and confidence. However, coaching is not without its challenges. Recognising and overcoming these challenges is essential to ensure a successful business coaching experience.
At the Alchemists Forum, we have come across many of these challenges with business leaders – it is our priority to ensure you can overcome these challenges as a member of our membership groups to ensure you feel clear and confident in yourself, your business and your people.
Remaining open-minded
One of the biggest challenges in business coaching is maintaining objectivity and avoiding personal bias. As peers, we may have preconceived notions or personal opinions about each other's abilities or weaknesses. It's important to put these aside and approach group coaching with an open mind – we focus our sessions on providing constructive feedback and support to your fellow members. In turn, you will then receive the same back, allowing you to grow as a leader.
Time Management
Another common challenge is time management. With busy schedules and competing priorities, finding dedicated time for business coaching can be difficult. Even the top business leaders in the world exchange information and ideas and build meaningful relationships with those outside of their industries to accelerate personal growth. Making time to devote to your own personal learning is essential for your business to succeed.
At Alchemists Forum we establish clear guidelines and set regular meeting times to help ensure consistency and commitment from all participants.
Communication
Communication can also present challenges in high performance business coaching. It's important to create an environment of trust and open dialogue, where members feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and receiving feedback. We encourage active listening and respectful communication which quickly helps to overcome any communication barriers that may arise. We also pick our members for each of our group wisely, ensuring we bring together those with similar morals, motivation and passion.
Motivation & Accountability
Those in high leadership positions tend to have quite a manic schedule day in, day out so maintaining motivation and accountability can be challenging in business coaching. Participants may lose motivation or struggle to follow through on their commitments. As a member of the Alchemists Forum, you will receive regular check-ins, where you and your fellow peers will set achievable goals, which we have learned can really help to keep participants engaged and accountable.
